I am a relatively serious amateur photographer. Since 2017, I studied the technical aspects of digital photography such as sensor sizes, lens types, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, etc., in part to gain a better understanding of today’s digital culture but more importantly because I enjoyed keeping a visual record of my daily life and field excursions in a way that expresses my personal aesthetic.
Below you will find a selection of my favourite photographs taken in the last few years. With a few exceptions, most were taken using the Sony mirrorless cameras a6500, a7ii, and a7siii and my personal smartphones, LG G4, LG V20, and Huawei P30 Pro.
Life in South Korea

Most people associate Hong Kong with skyscrapers and urban jungle. Hong Kong has a wonderful network of hiking trails and gorgeous natural landscapes. Below you will find some examples.
